- 6 fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
For the crumble topping:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine peach slices, granulated sugar, brown sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss until peaches are evenly coated. Transfer the peach mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour in the melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Evenly spread the crumble topping over the peaches.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach juices are bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
